In 1996, I started my first academic studies in business management at Beirut Arab University (BAU). Meanwhile I was an employee in one of the most famous companies around the world that was dealing with food. As a football fan, I have devoted good time for such a sport. I also had deep passion for swimming and contemplating the sea which offers me a feeling of relaxation. Feeling older than my age gave me the opportunity to meet the best friends. Concerning girls! In this matter I dare saying that I was the shy young man. Girls' interest to me was because of the lack of my experience and my decent way in dealing with them.
In my second academic year, I became more and more accustomed to my new friends and made remarkable progress in many domains.
March 1997 is a date not to be forgot. An advertisement on the Lebanese Broadcasting attracted my attention, which was stating the following: "Do you like fame and success? Do you like to represent Lebanon in an international Beauty Concert? Come to the LBC". As much as intriguing it seemed, I needed for something bigger to think about applying. But the encouragement that came from my mother convinced me to engage in such a step, she gave me determination to stand for that highly competitive experience which changed the life of a 19 years old teenager.
Among thousands of candidates, I was among the twenty five finalists selected to enter the expected contest. During 20 days of training, the ever prospected night of April 22, 1997 finally arrived and was sufficient to determine the future of a 19 years old ambitious young man.
